Door Knocking in Marblehead with UU Church, UU Mass Action, and ECCO!

  • Unitarian Universalist Mass Action Network P.O. Box 300159, 655 Centre Street Boston, MA, 02130 United States (map)

What: Come get out the vote with UU Church of Marblehead and ECCO. There are going to be two critical justice issues on the ballot this November 8th: Yes on 4 for Safer Roads, and Yes on 1 for Fair Share. Many people aren't aware of how transformative these two ballot questions could be for racial and economic justice in our whole state and even our country, and some people don't even know they're on the ballot. Joining in our afternoon of canvassing is a way to really talk to voters firsthand - known to be more effective than any other voter engagement technique.

We'll gather at the UU Church of Marblehead for training, and to pick up materials, snacks and water to go. Then we'll head out in pairs to talk to voters in Marblehead and educate them on these important justice issues. Whether you can join that day or join another day to canvas or phone bank with ECCO, we hope you'll sign up - every single voter we talk to makes a difference.

When: We'll be canvassing on Wednesday 11/2 from 3:00-6:00 PM. If you can't make it to that time there are many other phone and canvassing opportunities. Whether for the 2nd or another day, sign up at this link: bit.ly/eccocanvas22

Where: We'll meet at UUCM for training and head out from there. Write to aviva@eccoaction.org with any questions!
