November UU Justice Church

RSVP here!

Join us for our November UU Mass Action Justice Church: Siding with Love. This past month many of us have been experiencing grief, horror, confusion, anger, and a wide range of emotions as we witness injustices and violence both abroad, and close to home. In this Justice Church, we will reground in the first principle, recognizing the inherent worth and dignity of every person, and explore what spiritual grounding this can offer us in these challenging times. We further will unpack how society reacts when harm and violence is done, and the frameworks of punishment. How can our first principle help us move from a punishment mindset to a restorative mindset? How does this relate to global events, and to our UU Mass Action campaigns?

Justice Church is a monthly virtual service for UUs who care about justice from across our network, to come together in community to reground spiritually, connect, and build power together. We will include a sermon, break-outs groups (coffee hour), announcements, centering rituals, and more. This is one of the best ways to connect to our campaigns, meet other leaders in your area, and find spiritual nourishment together as we live out our values and work towards liberation.
